Praying for Peace and Justice on May 31, 2026
Let us pray…
Creator God, in this time of massive immigration challenges, of hatred and war, of environmental destruction and fear, my prayer is for us as Seekers Church to remain focused on what we can do every day and every week to encourage peace and justice among those we interact with, and that our ongoing focus on peace and justice will bring others to join us to help make this Earth a better, more loving place for all your creatures. AMEN.For the children who are afraid, who sense the not-rightness of the word, and for the parents who must try to explain the unexplainable, God, hear our prayers.
For those who are too important, too busy, too focused on their own comfort and security to ever see – really see — those who are suffering, afraid, without basic needs, heart sick, addicted, alone and friendless, God, hear our prayers.
God, for both the victims and perpetrators, we ask for your intervention for peace and justice for all of your creations.
