Seekers has had conversation for several years now about Peace Camp and it is finally happening! Seekers, with Little Friends for Peace, will sponsor a one-day Peace Camp on Saturday, July 26, for kids ages 3-11. Teens are welcome to come as counselors-in-training. Activities will include art, music, games and riding the Peace Train to learn about conflict resolution.

Little Friends for Peace has been engaging young children and teens around peacemaking and conflict resolution for several decades. We’re looking for teens and adults to be counselors for the camp. A Day at Peace Camp
9 to 9:15 am: Informal gathering activity in Home Base
9:15 to 10: Interactive Peace Presentation
10 to 10:15: Snack
10:15 to 12:30: Rotations
(Rotation involves: Art, Co-operative games, Special Guest with Peace Presentation and activity)
12:30: Lunch and Recess (Bring own brown bag…snacks, fruit and drinks provided.)
1:15: Large Group Sharing
1:30: Home Base
2:00: Peace Festival Presentation and Peace Parade
(Parents welcome)
3:00: Closing Circle
