Praying for Peace and Justice on May 17, 2026
Dear Lord,
We come before you today to seek your blessing on our damaged and hurting world.
We ask that you watch over our brothers and sisters of any country who continue to suffer the frenzy and confusion of war. Please stand alongside people of goodwill, on all sides, who wish for peace.
Give them patience and hope; let them see a future of comfort and goodness, and let them find the courage to keep living lives which will build a world of wholeness for everyone.
Blessed God, please allow the strength of our gathered prayer to fill their weary hearts, and sustain them through the moments of pain and violence they will face.
In Jesus name, amen.
