Seekers recognizes that any member of the community may be called upon by God to give us the Word, and thus we have an open pulpit with a different preacher each week. Sermons preached at Seekers, as well as sermons preached by Seekers at other churches or events, are posted here, beginning with the most recent.

Feel free to use what is helpful from these sermons. We only ask that when substantial portions are abstracted or used in a written work, please credit Seekers Church and the author, and cite the URL.
"The 'Legs' of Faith" by Kate Cudlipp
March 05, 2006
We have the three legs of faith: inner journey, community, outer journey. At the Seekers Church retreat this weekend, we focused on the community “leg” of the faith “stool.” We shared the ways that Seekers Church has been life giving to us, and we pray, to the wider world.
“Transfiguration and Repentance” by David W. Lloyd
February 26, 2006
My Lenten task is therefore repentance — to develop insight into my life, to rethink my life, to re-evaluate my life, figuring out where I have gotten off the right path and where and how I can get back on the right track. Not to wallow in feeling guilty for the different ways I have missed the mark, but to make an action plan of commitment and disciplines to help me get back on the path God has intended for me.

“Walking Meditation” by Muriel Lipp
February 19, 2006
I honor the way anyone prays. It is a very personal relationship between an individual and God. However, my method is not the Father Keating way of sitting still. Like Frank Laubach, the each-one-teach-one literacy pioneer, I pray while walking.
