Praying for Peace and Justice on August 3, 2025
Let us pray.
Holy One, we are grateful for the wonderful children of this community, for their loving parents who feed, clothe and shelter them and provide them with opportunities to explore the wider world with curiosity.
Seeing them thrive makes our hearts sing and at the same time break with anguish over the suffering of children all over the world who are lacking even the most basic food necessities, who are starving and homeless due to war or famine or famine caused by war.
We pray that you will find ways through us and others to bring hope into their lives, to help them to know that they are loved and cherished and to provide them relief from their suffering.
We ask this in your name.
