- Post-covid Plans: Dave
Time&Space (T&S), Celebration Circle (CC) and the SLT have begun talks about resuming in-person events at Seekers. They have agreed to follow CDC and Washington DC guidelines. In addition, CC has identified these values for resuming worship:
- Participatory worship over filmed performance;
- Privacy for the confessional nature of personal stories;
- Guidelines for now: we will resume when we can sing and safely take communion.
T&S is looking at other factors for multiple users (e.g. cleaning, air filtration,)
- Have been approached by summer music camps about being a single user for week-long sessions – and have decided to accept that (continuing the current practice of allowing the charter school to be a single-user right now).
SLT, T&S, and CC will schedule one or more listening sessions with the congregation (via Zoom) and then develop guidelines for use of the building. This will probably happen in May.
- Margreta offered the online questionnaire “tool” which the Servant Leadership Working Group (SLWG) will be using for their process.

- Michele has withdrawn from the SLWG; remaining Stewards are Margreta, Sandra, and Elizabeth. Anita is now paired with Glenn Clark to develop the congregational questionnaire.
- The group will be using four different “tools” to solicit information from the following:
- Servant Leader Team and former members; …. ready now
- Paid staff (SLT plus Katie and Debbie); …….. ready by next Sunday
- Mission Groups (response from each group); …. 3 weeks from now
- Whole congregation (individual responses). ……??
- Down the Road: Jacqie
Following Nancy Lawrence’s sermon on Living Water, Jacqie realized that her interest in aging and the Seekers website, Down the Road, might “belong” with Living Water. She will soon visit LW to explore that possibility.
- Following a request for help with using WordPress to update the website, Elizabeth volunteered to learn.
- Suggestions:
- Saturday seminars have been well-received and could be done on Zoom;
- Regular updates prompt use;
- Brenda uses WordPress for her book blog and urged Jacqie to get minimal training needed to update regularly;
- Deborah mentioned that WordPress has excellent tutorial programs.
- Pastoral concerns – no notes.
