This six-week course is an introduction to the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament). We’ll discuss themes arising from passages in the Torah, prophets, histories, and other writings, such as: what is the nature of God? How do we experience God’s call? How should we respond to the poor and oppressed? What consequences does sin bring?
