I am a Muslim and a Pakistani and the image that this statement conjures up in the minds of Americans today is a parallel universe to the reality I knew growing up. Therefore, it is vital that you know the cultural heritage I come from – a heritage that is much needed in the world today, and which parallels the teachings of Islam’s Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Twice each year, usually in the late winter and again around All Saints Day, we gather at the Wellspring Center for supper on Friday through Saturday lunch. It’s an informal time for sharing meals, stories and songs with people of all ages. Everyone is invited to join us. We spend the night in the cabins at Wellspring, and be there in the morning to welcome the new day with time for reflection and quiet conversation.
