“Callings”—The Church of the Saviour Newsletter

Callings Masthead Web

When Tom and Carolyn Hubers set down their call to publish Diaspora in 2011, the Ecumenical Council approved publication of a newsletter to make the churches and ministries of the Church of the Saviour more visible to each other and in the wider world. Marjory Bankson, who is a Steward of Seekers Church and the Chair of the Ecumenical Council of Church of the Saviour, is the editor of “Callings.” Here are the issues to date.

Honoring Gordon Cosby

Church of the Saviour published a special edition of “Callings” honoring Gordon Cosby, which was distributed to the member churches and distributed at his memorial service.

A memorial service for Gordon was held at Foundry United Methodist Church on April 6, 2013. The sanctuary was full that day, with Gordon’s family of faith gathered from near and far to honor his life and ministry. Here is a copy of the order of service. Following the service there was an extended time for those who were present to share memories and renew connections.
