Dear Friends and Supporters of Carroll Café,
The gift of music that we share is precious, and brings us together in ways that are beyond a momentary experience. As we all struggle with living in a time of great uncertainty, the team of people that make Carroll Café happen has been struggling with how we proceed.
Please know that there is nothing we would like more than to bring Carroll Café back to its vibrancy as a shared in-person experience. Even with the possibility of phased-in openings for some businesses, we are aware that our venue has challenges that we are unable to overcome at this time, or even in the very near future. We are exploring, with other roots/acoustic venues in our area, how we can all face into this and keep the music live. This will not be an overnight process, even if we find suitable ways to do this online until it is safe for all of us to be together in the same room.
For now, we are suspending Carroll Café activities with a heaviness of heart. At the same time, we remain hopeful that we will all be together again.
Our faithful concert night volunteers, Ozy, Jen, James, Jamie, Rhonda, Judy, Roy, Joan, Okima, Glenn, Greg, Donna, Calvin, and Harlee, have our undying thanks.
Sincere thanks to all people who have helped us to get the word out about our concerts, especially Katie.
