Time and Space

The Time and Space Mission Group is called to be a bridge between Seekers and other users of our building, fostering communication with them and with the wider community.

Along with setting policies to make space in Seekers’ building available for use and many other functions, the mission group has prepared a short document entitled Seekers Guide to Thermostat Settings, which describes how we’ve arrived at the temperature settings in the building and concludes with charts that specify the settings for the six zones in the building for both summer and winter. Our goals, in order to be good stewards of Seekers’ building and resources (as well as the environment) are to:

• Provide a comfortable and welcoming building for users,
• Ensure that the building is not harmed through excessive heat or cold, and
• Minimize energy consumption.
