"The Good News of Jesus in Luke's Acts of the apostles" David Lloyd, leader We will spend six weeks delving into Luke's Acts of the Apostles, focusing on pivotal roles of Peter and Paul, and explore a number of questions, for example: What do we hope for as the Body of Christ? How is that different from the hope of political authorities and secular culture? Weekly homework will include reading from Acts (and occasionally Paul's letters), questions for reflection and journaling, and questions for a written response and class discussion.
"How Will I Know: Questions & Answers about Your Call" Marjory Bankson, leader At Seekers, we tend to talk easily about the matter of "call," but when it comes to knowing we are in the right place at the right time to live out God's intention, the questions get harder. You are invited to come and explore this terrain together! Each week we'll look at a biblical story of call and some contemporary reading, examine our own lives in light of these stories, and share an exercise in class.
