Wisdom Literature of the Hebrew Scriptures

The School of Christian Living will offer a six-week course from this Tuesday, March 23 through Tuesday, April 27 entitled "Wisdom Literature of the Hebrew Scriptures." Led by Margreta Silverstone and Dan Phillips, the course is a great opportunity to explore the themes that emerge in Job, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. Seekers who have experienced Margreta's and Dan's popular Psalms course will not want to miss this new opportunity. Issues include:

What is the meaning of life?
How are we supposed to be towards God?
Why are there problems in life?
How should I live?

SCL participants come together at 2025 Massachusetts, meeting for dinner and a meditation at 7:00 p.m, followed by class from 8:00 to 9:30. Dinner will again be catered by the Potter's House, at a cost of four dollars per person per meal. Initially, classes will be held at 2025 Massachusetts Avenue. The SCL will move to Carroll Street as soon as the new facility is available.
