Subject: Seekers' New Home Teams

I thought we did well at the community meeting.  I was particularly pleased

that more than 20 Seekers signed up to help us gather the information we

need, and discern where God is leading us as we consider moving to 1101.

After the community meeting, Jeremy typed up our notes.  (YEAH

JEREMY!)  I took what he typed and separated it into four areas, with a team

to work in each area - call, logistics, stewardship and overall coordination

& communications.

I've talked with some (but not all) of you about leadership for the teams.

Here's what seems to make sense:

Call:  Marjory Bankson

Logistics: Keith Seat

Stewardship: Kate Cudlipp

Coordination & Communications: Peter Bankson

The attached tables contain more details on the teams:

*      major responsibilities (listed under the team name)

*      Team members (from the signup sheet last Wednesday)

*      Information needs

*      Contacts

*      Concerns.

I'd like to ask two things of you, as we move forward with this phase of our

move:

1.     Let me know if you are able to serve on the team I've suggested.

2.     Get together with your other team leader and decide how you want to

organize the rest of your team to gather the information we need and begin

to address the concerns.

My thought is that we can begin to develop a list of Questions" that

includes both the information needed and the concerns, and forward those to

each other.  As we get answers to these questions, we can forward them to

Jeffrey, who will post them on the Seekers web site.  Then, when new

information comes in, we can expand or modify what we've posted, to keep the

information base current.  We can print the New Home web pages and have

printed copies available on Sunday for those who do not have easy access to

the web site.

I think this process will help us gather together what we know, focus on

what else we need to learn, and keep the entire community informed.

Keep praying.  We need to be carried and guided by the Holy Spirit as we

look around this corner into the future.
