The Seekers Church (inner circle) was formed in response to our baptismal call to ministry (waves): one part of God's eternal wholeness (outer circle).
Waves and circles. In the beginning, God's spirit brooded over the face of the deep. Then, centered by Jesus, we come to know God's love for the world and our part in the sacred process of continuing creation.
The Seekers logo was originally designed by Marjory Bankson for use on our ceramic communion set and collection plate, created by her in 1976. Since then, the design has been adapted to a number of different media. This image is a photograph of the large mosaic on the front of our building, made up of broken crockery contributed by members of the congregation. Everyone from small children to elders assisted in the fabrication of this mosaic, under the direction of Kathryn Wysockey-Johnson and Peter Bankson.
