Honoring Gordon Cosby
Church of the Saviour published a special edition of "Callings" honoring Gordon Cosby, which was distributed to the member churches and distributed at his memorial service. Click here for a copy.
A memorial service for Gordon was held at Foundry United Methodist Church on April 6, 2013. The sanctuary was full that day, with Gordon's family of faith gathered from near and far to honor his life and ministry. Here is a copy of the order of service. Following the service there was an extended time for those who were present to share memories and renew connections.

Bokamoso Career Workshop
Bokamoso Career Workshop
Since 2002, Seekers Church has supported a growing relationship with the Bokamoso Life Centre in Winterveldt, a township near Pretoria, South Africa. Roy Barber, a member of Seekers Church and teacher at St. Andrews School in Potomac Maryland, has invited Seekers to join a group from St. Andrews Episcopal High School and the George Washington University, facilitating visits from this area to Winterveldt and helping the visitors from Bokamoso meet and share their stories with people here.
The career workshop provides visitors from Bokamoso with two days to work with a mentor who has experience in the career field of interest to the visitor, as well as a site visit with someone here who is working in that field. It is an opportunity for the visitors from Bokamoso to gin fresh insight into their career field, improve their resumes and sharpen their interview skills.
