 Seekers Church:
An Intentional Christian Community
in the tradition of Church of the Saviour

Who We Are

Seekers Church is a Christian community of approximately 100 people of all ages, many of whom come from a variety of Christian faith traditions. We believe that each person, young or old, regardless of experience, skills or education, is called by God to a life of love and service, and that God's call is expressed in each person by a desire both to do work in the world (the outer journey) and to experience God's presence in our innermost being (the inner journey).

We have our roots in the Church of the Saviour, an ecumenical church founded in Washington, DC in 1947. Seekers Church was formed in 1976 as one of six communities within the Church of the Saviour and assumed independent status in 1994.
